Sandalwood has been used for centuries during prayer and meditation. Its grounding properties are thought to promote, among other things, serenity, acceptance and positivity. This is MY personal FAVORITE for meditation. After a decade of regular prayerful meditation with sandalwood, its aroma now signals my brain that it's time to call  upon my highest self, put the world away for a time, relax and commune with the Divine.
